Rules of Conduct
From Open Source Ecology
These are Factor e Farm rules of conduct, cleanliness, smoking, drinking, drugs, and firearms.
- One should have pride in the facility and aim to keep it as clean and orderly as possible. One should clean up work areas after each day of work. Tools should be put back at the end of every work day. One should keep kitchen, restroom, shower, sink, and other common facilities as clean as possible, and should strive to leave a place cleaner than it was found. Farm objects should be stowed out-of-sight-out-of-mind as best as possible, such as in our Recycling Center or in storage areas.
- Smoking is discouraged, and it shall occur only outside in designated areas. Designated areas means 100 feet away from living and working structures, in a location where prevailing wind direction does not blow smoke back into the above areas.
- There shall be no carrying around of alcoholic beverages in bottles or cans - where visible to outside passersby. We encourage drinking only those alcoholic beverages that one brews by themselves. There shall be no intoxication on premises.
- Illegal drugs are not allowed on premises.
- A maximum of 3 (total possessed by the entire population of Factor e) firearms may be kept on site at any time.
- Excessive profanity should not be used on premises.
- In general, we want to keep a family-friendly environment on site and an acceptable image to the surrounding community.
- Whenever in the local town, one should behave themselves responsibly and not create a negative image for Factor e Farm by poor behavior.
- Violators may be disciplined accordingly, up to expulsion from the facility for serious offenders.
Rules subject to change without notice.
